When South Florida’s cooler Winter night temperatures impact this unique DocBlock Zara cultivar’s seed parent, the new emergent leaf slowly transitions from peach-pink through orange-red colors before settling into a chocolate brown! The pollen used is from Anthurium ‘DocBlock Red Crystal®’. This pollen parent’s genetics are expected to reenforce the offspring’s new emergent leaf with primary red colors. Beautiful seedling variations are expected in this F2 hybrid.
