The seed parent ’31’ is a ‘Michelle’ selected for having a particularly round leaf shape… and the desired new emerging leaf showing red-burgundy hues. The pollen used is from Anthurium ‘DocBlock Red Crystal®’. This pollen parent’s genetics are expected to reenforce the offspring’s new emergent leaf with striking primary red color. Beautiful seedling variations are expected in this new release F2 hybrid.
